Produced for ClickView, this animated short follows the journey of nervous Blob as they grapple with the looming storm ahead: high school.

The transition to high school, although exciting, can be a really challenging time for kids as they step into the unknown. I wanted to create a video that would offer children a snapshot of what to expect and get them stoked for the adventure ahead.

I created the character, Blob, to be the vehicle to facilitate this journey. Blob is feeling all the diverse emotions children may experience during this time. They ventures from a place of fear and uncertainty to that of confidence and clarity, as the ins and outs of high school – including friendships, timetables, and navigating campus – are explained in poetic prose by an omniscient and wise narrator.
